Command dedicated to the calculations of homogenized linear thermal and thermoelastic properties for heterogeneous periodic structures with rectangular steps with three-dimensional base cells symmetric with respect to the three planes of the Cartesian reference frame, cf. [R5.03.37].

Two situations can be handled:

  • three-dimensional homogenization, for periodic base cells in the three spatial directions;

  • homogenization in the framework of the theory of heterogeneous plates, in Love-Kirchhoff kinematics, in membrane-flexure, for periodic base cells in the two spatial directions of the tangential plane to the plate or to the shell, the third spatial direction corresponding to the thickness of the latter.

Periodic cases with a « hexagonal step » can also be treated by defining a periodic and symmetric « subcell » with a square step.

The equivalent material calculated by CALC_MATE_HOMOest orthotropic: the homogenized coefficients are given according to the axes of the Cartesian frame of reference of the mesh of the base cell.

The table produced contains: the homogenized orthotropic elasticity matrix, the homogenized orthotropic expansion coefficients, a transverse isotropy indicator if applicable, the homogenized density, the homogenized orthotropic conductivity matrix, the homogenized orthotropic conductivity matrix, the homogenized calorific capacity.
