3. Order DEFI_MATER_GC#

3.1. Purpose of the order#

The purpose of the DEFI_MATER_GC command is to simplify the entry of material coefficients for a civil engineering application, with the following laws:

  • Mazars concrete law,

  • concrete law for GLRC_DM,

  • ecro_line steel law,

  • law of non-local damage to concrete ENDO_FISS_EXP,

  • law of local damage to concrete ENDO_LOCA_EXP.

In this command, we enter the physical properties (elastic coefficients, elastic limits, characteristic resistances,…), at the output we have a « material » concept, which can then be assigned to the various meshes with the affe_material command.

These output « material » concepts can also be used by the operator DEFI_GLRC, for the cases reinforced concrete for GLRC_DM and steel ECRO_LINE.

3.2. Operand INFO#

Allows you to have, in the message file, the echo of the defi_material command used by defi_mater_gc when defining the material.

The defi_mater_gc command always prints the material parameters that are passed to the defi_material command (refer to the « example of use » paragraph).

3.3. Other operands#

The operands RHO, ALPHA, AMOR_ALPHA, AMOR_BETA, AMOR_HYST correspond and have the same meaning as those found under the key word factor elas of the defi_material command [U4.43.01].
