Summary:

This document describes for modeling POU_D_T_GD:

• the degrees of freedom carried by the finite elements that support modeling,

• the related support meshes,

• the loads supported,

• non-linear possibilities,

• test cases implementing modeling.

Modeling POU_D_T_GD corresponds to a formulation of Timoshenko beam elements taking into account large displacements and large rotations (cf. [R5.03.40]).

It can be used for three-dimensional beam problems in isotropic mechanical analysis and in linear elastic behavior.
