u3.11.03 Models CABLE and CABLE_POULIE

Summary:

This document describes for models CABLE and CABLE_POULIE:

• the degrees of freedom carried by the finite elements that support modeling,

• the related support meshes,

• the loads supported,

• non-linear possibilities,

• test cases implementing the models.

The models CABLE and CABLE_POULIE correspond to bar elements written specifically to take into account large displacements (cf. [R3.08.02] and [R3.08.04]).

They cannot be used for linear mechanical analysis problems.
