3. Implementation#

3.1. General diagram#

The general scheme of adaptation is shown in the figure. It includes the 4 phases described above:

  • resolution on one or more loading steps

  • adaptation of the mesh based on the calculation of an error indicator

  • projection of fields at the end of the last time step on the new mesh

  • balancing the fields at the end of the last time step on the new mesh
