1. Introduction#
Civil Engineering studies are often quite complex to carry out insofar as they involve \(\mathrm{3D}\) models, shells, bars and several materials. This document tries to pool the experience acquired on the subject by giving methodological advice for the meshing and the modeling phase, for prestressed structures.
The numerical implementation of tension requires some precautions, especially in the case of non-linear calculations, since the chronology of the loads can impact the results. In this document, we see how to set up the controls to reproduce some examples of possible situations in reality.
