4. Limitations of the law

Law BETON_REGLE_PR has two major limitations:

• the model is elastic: discharge is therefore not taken into account in the formulation of the law. The charging and discharging paths are therefore identical. It is therefore not recommended to use this law for cases of non-monotonic, cyclical or dynamic loading.

• the model does not represent the Poisson effect: the law is of the « twice 1D » type where the behavior in the two main directions of deformation is treated independently.
