r5.02.04 Nonlinear thermal in moving coordinate system

Summary

The formulation and the algorithm of the convection-diffusion problem in stationary nonlinear thermics introduced in command THER_NON_LINE_MO [U4.33.04] are presented.

The aim is to solve the heat equation in a moving frame of reference linked to a loading and moving in a given direction and at a given speed.

The nonlinearities of the problem come both from the characteristics of the material, which depend on temperature, and from boundary conditions such as radiation.

Problems of this type can be treated with models using plane, axisymmetric, and three-dimensional finite structural elements.
