v9.01.106 SZLZ106 - Fatigue under random stress#

Summary:

The aim of this test is to calculate the damage from a random solicitation which is characterized by its spectral moments.

From the spectral moments of the random loading, the average damage suffered by the structure [R7.04.02] is determined.

To do this, two methods for counting stress cycles are available:

  • method for counting stress peaks,

  • method of exceeding a given level.

Various possibilities for introducing the Wöhler curve as well as taking into account the elasto-plastic concentration coefficient \(\mathrm{Ke}\) are also tested.

The reference results of this test are the values provided by the POSTDAM software developed by Department REME (EDF - DER -EP).

The results provided by the operator POST_FATI_ALEA are completely identical to those provided by the POSTDAM software.
