Summary:

Transient linear elastic quasistatic problem in structural mechanics.

Calculation of the final damage in an element subjected to cyclic loading, with linear elastic behavior.

This test validates the cycle counting method (RAINFLOW) implemented in the CALC_FATIGUE operator as well as the method for calculating damage under imposed stress (Wöhler curve) or imposed deformation (Manson-Coffin curve). The reference solution is an analytical solution.

It also validates the calculation of equivalent stresses and strains using options SIEQ_ELGA, SIEQ_ELNO, EPEQ_ELGA, EPEQ_ELNO, EPMQ_ELGA, and EPMQ_ELNO.
