v8.22.302 AHLV302 — Anechoic waveguide with vibro-absorbing input#

Summary:

The objective of this test case is to calculate the pressure fields in a waveguide with anechoic output and whose acoustic excitation is provided by a condition at the speed limits imposed on an absorbent panel defined in the inlet section.

This test uses vibro-acoustic finite elements:

  • modeling A: 3D_ FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_P_ PHI “

  • B modeling: 2D_ FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_P_ PHI “

  • C modeling: AXIS_FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_P_ PHI “

  • D modeling: 3D_ FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_P”

  • E modeling: 2D_ FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_P”

  • modeling F: AXIS_FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_P”

  • G modeling: 3D_ FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_ PSI “

  • H modeling: 2D_ FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_ PSI “

  • modeling I: AXIS_FLUIDE, FORMULATION =”U_ PSI “

An exact analytical solution exists. This test case therefore makes it possible to validate the functionalities for defining material properties for a non-damped fluid, for defining boundary conditions in terms of speed and impedance as well as the tools for creating and assembling mass, stiffness and acoustic damping matrices. On the other hand, it allows the validation of the sound pressure calculation.
