Summary of results
======================

The tool for calculating damping under flow (potential hypothesis) has been validated on the mode of rotation of a cylindrical structure subjected to annular flow. However, it should be noted [:ref:`bib1 <bib1>`] that the very good agreement between the semi-analytical model proposed for comparison and the numerical calculation is only obtained if the cylinder is long enough.

In fact, the semi-analytical model is in fact only an approximate solution to the problem posed.
