v8.01.102 FDLV102 - Mass added calculated on a generalized model#
Summary:
This test belongs to the field of fluid/structure interaction, in its inertial coupling aspect: it involves calculating an added mass matrix, based on a generalized model resulting from a calculation by dynamic substructuring. A modal analysis is carried out on the coupled fluid/structure system from a calculation by substructuration, and the result is compared with a modal calculation in direct fluid. Thus, for a two-dimensional fluid problem, the possibility of calculating the terms of added self-mass and of added coupling mass between substructures deduced from one another by rotation and translation (these « deduced » substructures not being meshed) is thus tested.
Currently, only one modeling is available, which consists in assigning plane thermal elements to the fluid mesh.
