3. B modeling#
3.1. Characteristics of B modeling#
Three-dimensional case in HM modeling in plane deformations.
The time discretization is from \({10}^{-3}s\) to \(\mathrm{0,2}s\).
3.2. Results#
The figures below show the hydraulic speed and pressure profiles along the column as a function of time. A reflection of the wave is clearly observed at the top of the column, followed by an inverse propagation of the reflected wave. This reflected wave is then absorbed at the base by the absorbing border.
This test case differs from test case SDLV121 in the following ways:
it shows that paraxial elements are also functional with HM modeling;
it constitutes a reference closer to the real problems encountered, where it is necessary to start from an initially balanced state taking into account a geostatic force field;
3.3. Tested values#
This test case has no reference value, so we make it a non-regression case.
Tests are carried out on three values for the hydraulic speed and pressure fields.
