.. _V7.32.120: **v7.32.120** WTNP120 - Appearance/disappearance of phase in a two-phase flow: Injection of gas into a bar saturated with pure water ============================================================================================================================================ **Summary:** This test represents the simulation of gas injection into a saturated geological environment. The aim is to model and simulate the appearance of gas and the evolution of a two-phase water/hydrogen flow in a porous medium initially saturated with pure water. We consider a "near" -1D situation where the effects of gravity are overlooked. The test case is presented in a 2D configuration but it can be treated equivalently as a 1D problem. It is a purely hydraulic miscible calculation. The geometry shown corresponds to a bar. The transfer terms are described by a model by Mualem Van-Genuchten. The problem is treated by the various schemes available for modeling two-phase flows: classical finite elements, Decentralized Edge Finite Volumes, Mesh-centered Finite Volumes and Mesh-Centered Finite Volumes. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Mod_lisation_B Mod_lisation_C Mod_lisation_D Mod_lisation_E Mod_lisation_F Mod_lisation_G Synth_se_des_r_sultats
