v7.31.143 WTNV143 - Application of distributed pressure on the lips of a XFEM crack in a hydro-mechanical model#
Summary:
The aim of this test is to ensure the correct functioning of the extended finite element method (XFEM) in a hydro-mechanical model, in order to represent a fractured saturated medium.
In this test, it is assumed that the pore pressure is assumed to be uniformly zero throughout the field of study: the hydro-mechanical model then corresponds to a « classical » mechanical model without coupling. It is verified that there is indeed a discontinuity in the field of movement on either side of the interface. The results are compared to an analytical solution and to the results obtained with a mechanical XFEM test (similar to the ssnv203 tests, F and H models).
