.. _V7.31.136: **v7.31.136** WTNV136 — 3D modeling of clay swelling with the INFELAS model ========================================================================================== **Summary:** This test makes it possible to validate the so-called "GonfElas" model. This non-linear elastic model, dependent on suction, describes the swelling behavior of certain types of clay. Typically it is used to model the behavior of compacted clay plugs - or bentonite - used to close radioactive waste storage cells. It is a very simplified version (elastic part) of the Barcelona model. This model is written according to the following pair of variables: net stress and suction (suction is capillary pressure). This test represents the swelling pressure of a clay cell that is filled with water. This test case is the variation of test case WTNA110 to :math:`\mathrm{3D}` geometry. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Mod_lisation_B Mod_lisation_C Mod_lisation_D Mod_lisation_E
