9. G modeling#

With G and H models, we are undertaking to validate mesh PYRAM13pour the HM models. We compare the behavior of a HEXA20 (G modeling) with 6 PYRAM13 (H modeling).

9.1. Characteristics of modeling#

  • Modeling in 3D_HM plane deformations.

  • Hydraulic behavior LIQU_SATU.

Since the transient regime for establishing the flow is very sensitive to the structure, the inverse of the compressibility of the fluid is reduced, which changes to \(1.0E-18\), and the tests are carried out at the time step 8 \((10000)\) so as to exceed the transitory regime.

9.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

9.3. The cube is composed of a HEXA20.#

9.4. Tested sizes and results#

The minimum and maximum values of the pore pressure on the lower face and the upper face of the cube are tested with respect to the analytical solution.
