.. _V7.31.113: **v7.31.113** WTNV113 — Gravity flow in a saturated porous medium ========================================================================== **Summary:** This test consists in studying the influence of a gravity flow on the distribution of the pressure of the fluid in the saturated medium. It is an evolving problem. The hydraulic behavior of a porous medium saturated by a single liquid is studied Eleven models are carried out: four two-dimensional models (models A, B: elements HM_DPQ8, models E, F: elements THM_DPQ8) and seven three-dimensional models (models C and D: elements HM_HEXA20, models G and H: elements, models G and H: elements, G and H: elements, G and H: elements, elements, E, F: elements) and seven three-dimensional models (models C and D: elements, G and H: elements, models G and H: elements, G and H: elements), elements THM_HEXA20, I: THM_HEXA20D and J: THM_HEXA20S, K: THM_HEXA20S_DIL) The distinction between models A and B (respectively C and D, E and F, G and H) lies in the law of fluid behavior. The I and J models are variants in selective and lumped modeling of G, they have results that differ from the proposed analytical solution (the integration is different), and are therefore non-regressive. K modeling aims to verify the use of the second 3D gradient model_ THMS (similar to J modeling). So it's a non-regression test. The reference solution is one-dimensional because it only depends on the vertical coordinate. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Mod_lisation_B Mod_lisation_C Mod_lisation_D Mod_lisation_E Mod_lisation_F Mod_lisation_G Mod_lisation_H Mod_lisation_I Mod_lisation_J Mod_lisation_K Synth_se_des_r_sultats
