Summary:

This test represents the swelling of a cell that is filled with water. It uses the « GonfElas » model that was originally developed by Dashnor Hoxha. It is a non-linear elastic model that depends on suction and describes the swelling behavior of certain types of clay. This model is written according to the following pair of variables: net stress and suction (suction is capillary pressure). It can be considered as the elastic part of the Barcelona model.

This test is a variation of the wtnv136 test with free movements.
