.. _V7.14.303: **v7.14.303** HSLV303 — Verification of the CALC_THERMECA_MULT operator on a hollow cylinder subjected to thermal shock ======================================================================================================================= **Summary:** To reduce the time required to set up thermo-mechanical calculations in the linear domain, a new methodology is proposed. This methodology consists in determining the temperature in a structure from the calculation of a unit thermal shock using the macro command CALC_THERMECA_MULT. The objective of this test case is to validate this methodology on the one hand and to verify its ease of implementation on the other hand. In this test case, a tube in which a fluid carrying a thermal shock circulates is modelled. Then the mechanical response is calculated using the same methodology. The four models carried out are as follows: * **Modeling** **A**: volume modeling that calculates the transient thermal response and the associated mechanical response for heat shock :math:`\mathrm{\Delta }T=50°C` from the unit heat shock :math:`(\Delta {T}_{U}=1°C)` via CALC_THERMECA_MULT. * **Modeling** **B**: axisymmetric modeling where we calculate the transient thermal response and the associated mechanical response for thermal shock :math:`\mathrm{\Delta }T=50°C` from the unit heat shock :math:`(\Delta {T}_{U}=1°C)` via CALC_THERMECA_MULT. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Mod_lisation_B Synth_se_des_r_sultats
