5. C modeling#

5.1. Characteristics of modeling and meshing#

Meshing is identical to modeling A. The study is divided into 2 steps.

  • In the first, the tension is calculated by taking into account only the losses due to friction and anchor recoil. All cables are stretched simultaneously.

  • In the second phase, it is assumed that cable 5 is broken. The new voltage profile is applied.

5.2. Tested sizes and results#

The voltage profile (component N) in the cable 5 is tested, more precisely the minimum value and the sum of the Ns over the entire cable. More exactly, we compare the values obtained at the end of DEFI_CABLE_BPet at the end of CALC_PRECONT and we compare them with the values of the voltage supplied at the input.
