Modeling A ============== Characteristics of modeling ----------------------------------- This modeling illustrates the methodology for tightening a stud. The aim is to impose a relative displacement between the nodes of the nut and the stud and to calculate the resulting force. The calculation is carried out by modifying the value of DEPL_R until the resulting effort corresponds to the required effort. Tested sizes and results ------------------------------ The realignment achieved is considered satisfactory when DEPL_R is :math:`8.0E-3\mathit{mm}`. This value makes it possible to pre-tension the stud with an average stress of :math:`30\mathit{MPa}` in the stud shaft. The resulting effort is compared to the effort sought. .. csv-table:: "**Result**", "**Reference**", "**Reference Value**", "**Tolerance**" "Resulting force on the nut", "ANALYTIQUE "," :math:`\mathrm{-}1695.6N` "," :math:`1.0E-02`" Non-regression tests with a tolerance of :math:`1.0E-6` are carried out on the resulting efforts of the following faces: * face of the nut in contact with the stud, * face of the stud in contact with the nut, * face of the underside of the stud, * face of the joint in contact with the flange, * face of the flange in contact with the joint. *Note: the resulting force calculated on each face is the same.*
