*Summary*

A *test* *of shear in pure mechanics* (equivalent to drained hydraulic conditions) is carried out with *Hujeux's law*. The solutions are obtained with orthotropic elastic parameters modeling isotropic behavior and the results are compared to modeling with isotropic elastic parameters in order to validate the shear terms of the orthotropic Hooke tensor of Hujeux's law.
