Summary
This drained oedometric compression test (in pure mechanics, equivalent to drained hydraulic conditions) makes it possible to validate the elastoplastic laws CAM_CLAY [r7.01.14] _ and MCC [r7.01.48] _, specific to soil behaviors, presenting under this load a non-linear elastic regime and a hardening plastic regime.
Modeling A uses model CAM_CLAY and drives the test by an increasing monotonic imposed displacement. The C modeling uses model MCC and controls the test using imposed pressure. For each of the two laws, the calculated quantities are compared with the results obtained either from the software FLAC for calculating soil mechanics in modeling A, or with the results obtained from a calculation MTest at the hardware point in modeling C.
