**v6.04.173** SSNV173 — Cracked bar with X- FEM

**Summary**

This test aims to validate two aspects of elementary calculation in the context of X- FEM [:ref:`R7.02.12 <R7.02.12>`]:


* the integration of a discontinuous quantity thanks to a sub-division of the element,


* the enrichment of form functions by the Heaviside function.

This test involves a parallelepipedic bar that is cracked over its entire section (we will then speak of an interface), subjected to an imposed displacement, which results in the separation of the two parts of the structure.

The influence of mesh and boundary conditions is also studied.

In :math:`\mathrm{2D}`, we are also studying the case of a plaque.
