2.1. Calculation method

This test is based on inter-comparison: behaviors MONOCRISTAL (for a single grain) on the one hand, and POLYCRISTAL on the other hand must give the same results.

Modeling A provides the reference values used by Modeling B to compare the various implicit algorithms.

As far as C modeling is concerned, with explicit integration, the reference chosen is the solution provided by MONOCRISTAL EXPLICITE, to which case POLYCRISTAL is compared. These values are slightly different from those obtained implicitly (models A and B) because of the relatively crude temporal discretization.
