.. _V6.04.165: **v6.04.165** FORMA42 - Practical work from the "Civil Engineering" training course: tensioning a prestressed beam with a variable section ==== **Summary:** The purpose of this test :math:`\mathrm{3D}` is to implement the two techniques for tensioning pretension cables and to compare the solutions thus obtained. In modeling :math:`A`, all cables are energized simultaneously from the start of the calculation by simply using the STAT_NON_LINE operator. In models :math:`B` and :math:`C` the idea is to use the CALC_PRECONT operator. In the first case, all the cables are put under tension simultaneously; in the second case, the prestress phasing is modelled. The objective of the TP is to implement these different strategies and to compare the differences in results obtained in each case. In all cases, the connection conditions between the cable and the concrete as well as the calculation of the tensions according to BPEL91 are carried out using the DEFI_CABLE_BP operator. When the TP is carried out in a limited time, it may be wise to start with modeling :math:`A`, and to only perform models :math:`B` and :math:`C`. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A___mise_en_tension_de_la_poutre_sans_prise_en_compte_du_phasage_avec_STAT_NON_LINE Mod_lisation_B___mise_en_tension_de_la_poutre_sans_prise_en_compte_du_phasage_avec_CALC_PRECONT Mod_lisation_C___mod_lisation_du_phasage_de_mise_en_pr_contrainte Synth_se_des_r_sultats
