Benchmark solution ===================== Calculation method used for the reference solution -------------------------------------------------------- In linear elasticity, cf. [:ref:`V6.02.117 `] a comparison is made to other numerical results obtained with *Code_Aster* on a :math:`\mathrm{3D}` mesh of the elbow and straight parts, connected at the ends to straight beams. This :math:`\mathrm{3D}` mesh includes 1024 HEXA20 meshes. A COQUE_3D model gives similar results. Benchmark results ---------------------- For a moment applied :math:`\mathrm{Mz}` in :math:`D`, moving :math:`\mathrm{DY}` from the same point :math:`D` is equivalent to: .. csv-table:: "**Moment**", ":math:`\mathit{DY}` **point** :math:`D` **(** :math:`m` ****) **(** 3D **)**", ":math:`\mathit{DY}` **point** :math:`D` **** (**:math:`m`**) (****) (****) (****) **) (** COQUE_3D **)** "3.08670D+08", "1.09349D—02", "1.08875D—02", "1.09349D—02" Uncertainty about the solution --------------------------- Since the reference solution is numerical, the precision can be evaluated from [:ref:`§2.2 <§2.2>`] to :math:`\text{2\%}` by comparing solutions :math:`\mathrm{3D}` and COQUE_3D.
