v6.04.121 SSNV121 - Hyper-elastic rotation and traction of a bar#
Summary:
This quasistatic mechanical test consists in rotating a parallelepipedic bar by \(90°\), in subjecting it to significant traction and finally letting it return to an unloaded state. We thus validate the kinematics of large hyper-elastic deformations (command STAT_NON_LINE, keyword COMPORTEMENT), and therefore in particular large rotations, for a linear elastic behavior relationship.
The bar is modelled by a solid element (HEXA8, ModelizationA) or a plane element (QUAD4, hypothesis of plane deformations, modelizationB).
The results obtained by*Code_Aster* do not differ from the theoretical solution.
