v6.04.115 SSNV115 - Corrugated sheet metal in non-linear behavior#

Summary:

This problem validates the law of elasto-plastic behavior with the Von Misès criterion for isotropic linear work hardening for models of plates [R3.07.03] and solid shells [R3.07.04] where membrane and flexure effects are also important.

The geometry of the model respects 3 constraints:

  • the thickness is small to respect the hypothesis of thin shells,

  • the problem must be in plane deformation according to \(\mathrm{Oz}\),

  • the curvature according to \(\mathrm{Oy}\) is chosen so that the « flexure » and the « membrane » are both significant.

There is no analytical solution. Modeling A (2D D_ PLAN) is used as a reference. The test has no physical significance and the values of the displacements obtained are very significant compared to the dimensions of the initial structure. This test is therefore rather a test of non-regression and inter-model comparison.

The results (while moving) differ by 2 to 3% between the plate models and the 2D reference. This difference is reduced to 0.5% between the solid shell models and the 2D reference.
