B modeling ============== Characteristics of modeling ----------------------------------- A modeling testing the functionalities of knot-to-mesh contact (DEFI_CONTACT) without friction treated with the penalized method was implemented. Given the symmetry of the problem, it comprises a quarter of the ring as well as the mesh of a non-deformable plate. .. image:: images/1000000000000170000001C015F9DD4B7346FD34.png :width: 3.8327in :height: 4.6661in .. _RefImage_1000000000000170000001C015F9DD4B7346FD34.png: **Boundary condition:** .. csv-table:: "Symmetry conditions:", "the nodes of group :math:`\mathrm{LAB}` located in the plane :math:`X=0` are blocked in the direction :math:`X` (:math:`\mathrm{DX}=0`), the nodes of the group :math:`\mathrm{LCD}` located in the plane :math:`Y=0` are blocked in the direction :math:`Y` (DY=0), all the nodes in mesh group :math:`«\mathrm{Plaque}»` are blocked in the direction :math:`X` (:math:`\mathrm{DX}=0`)" To avoid rigid body movements, nodes A and P1 have the same vertical displacement. **Loads:** Imposed displacement following :math:`Y` on all nodes of the plate: :math:`\mathrm{DY}` varies from :math:`0` to :math:`\mathrm{2,225}\mathrm{cm}`. (the value of :math:`\mathrm{4,45}\mathrm{cm}` is the vertical approximation of the two symmetric plates). **Notes:** *The mesh was made in* :math:`\mathrm{cm}` *.* Characteristics of the mesh ---------------------------- The mesh is identical in every way to the mesh used for modeling A.
