5. Summary of results

On this very simple example, we are trying to test a new technique for integrating contact terms based on subdivision by sub-elements. This method is activated when ALGO_CONT =” LAC “is chosen for a contact zone in the CONTINUE formulation. The method is thus validated in 2D for quadratic elements, in the case of curved surfaces.
