.. _V6.03.162: **v6.03.162** SSNP162 — 2D and 3D joints for laws JOINT_MECA_RUPT and JOINT_MECA_FROT ======================================================================================== **Summary:** The purpose of this test is to validate hydro-mechanical joint elements for the behavior laws of dams JOINT_MECA_RUPT and JOINT_MECA_FROT. We test both the pure mechanical models PLAN_JOINT in :math:`\mathrm{2D}` (mesh QUAD4, QUAD8) and 3D_ JOINT in :math:`\mathrm{3D}` (mesh HEXA8, HEXA20 or PENTA6, PENTA15) with both laws in the presence of imposed pressure. Then, again for the same quadratic elements, the coupled hydro-mechanical models PLAN_JOINT_HYME and C3D_ JOINT_HYME, with the underpressure profile obtained in the calculation. The elements on which these models are based are the standard cohesive joint elements.
