B modeling ============== Characteristics of modeling ----------------------------------- The entire domain is meshed into 6-node triangular elements. The mesh has 620 triangles and 64 segments. 1 time step of 1 s is modelled. 3.2 Results In the figures and respectively, the horizontal displacements DX and the damage criterion (internal variable V1) are plotted at the end of :math:`\mathrm{1s}`. We see a crack that starts at :math:`2/3` of the domain (when V1 is equal to 1, the material is broken).
