Modeling A ============== Characteristics of modeling ----------------------------------- The simulation of the propagation of cracks by brittle fracture is carried out with modeling PLAN_JOINT and the law of behavior CZM_LIN_REG for cohesive meshes. The solid elements, in plane deformations D_ PLAN, are elastic. Characteristics of the mesh ---------------------------- A linear unstructured mesh of the perforated half-plate and of the potential crack is produced. Solid elements (:math:`\mathit{DCB}`): 404 TRIA3 Joint elements (crack path): 19 QUAD4 Tested sizes and results ------------------------------ We perform non-regression tests on the global response: :math:`{F}^{i}` resulting from the force imposed on the upper face *versus* :math:`U` movement of the node :math:`P` to the top of the hole. .. csv-table:: "**Size tested**", "**Code_Aster**", "**Tolerance (** :math:`\text{\%}` **)**" ":math:`U` at time 50", "3.3166D-03", "0.10" ":math:`F` at time 50", "4.26153D+07", "0.10" ":math:`U` at time 100", "1.29488D-03", "0.10" ":math:`F` at time 100", "2.73873D+06", "0.10" ":math:`U` at the moment 150", "6.45752D-03", "0.10" ":math:`F` at time 150", "7.87206D+06", "0.10" ":math:`U` at time 200", "1.04754D-02", "0.10" ":math:`F` at time 200", "2.16189D+06", "0.10"
