1.1. Geometry#

Geometry is a cracked plate of which only the upper part is modelled.

1.2. Material properties#

The massif consists of a linear isotropic elastic material:

  • Isotropic elasticity Young’s modulus: \(E=200000\mathrm{Pa}\)

  • Poisson’s ratio: \(\nu =\mathrm{0,3}\)

1.3. Boundary conditions and loads#

Unitary pressure is imposed on the top of the plate.

For reasons of symmetry, the ligament of the crack is blocked along axis \(Y\) and the node at the end of the ligament is blocked along axis \(X\).
