.. _V6.03.128: **v6.03.128** SSNP128 - Validation of the discontinuity element on a flat plate ==================================================================================== **DOC A SUPPRIMER** **Summary:** The aim of this test is to demonstrate an analytical solution in order to validate the quality of the discontinuous element (see documentation [:ref:`R7.02.12 `] for details on this element). The objective of this test is to verify that this model leads to a good prediction of the value of the displacement jump along a crack. To do this, an analytical solution is sought presenting a non-constant jump along a discontinuity that is compared with the solution obtained numerically. Moreover, when seeking to validate a numerical method, it is preferable to ensure the uniqueness of the solution sought.
