.. _V6.03.109: **v6.03.109** SSNP109 - Eccentric prestress cable in a straight concrete beam ======================================================================================== **Summary** We consider a straight concrete beam, of rectangular cross section, crossed over its length by a steel pretension cable. The cable is straight, parallel to the middle fiber of the beam, and passes halfway up the section of the beam, while being eccentric with respect to the mean plane. The left section of the beam and the left end of the cable are fixed. The cable is pulled at its right end, in order to pre-stress the beam in flexion-compression. Voltage losses along the cable are overlooked. The aim of this test case is to validate the method for calculating the equilibrium state of a prestressed concrete structure by comparison with an analytical reference solution. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A Synth_se
