.. _V6.03.007: **v6.03.007** SSNP007 - Stability analysis of an undrained slope with weak layer by the Morgenstern-Price method ======================================================================================================================== **Summary:** This test case analyzes the stability of an undrained slope with a weak layer. We calculate the factor of slope safety using the Morgenstern-Price method based on the equilibrium limit theory in using macro command CALC_STAB_PENTE. The test case comes from the article by D.V.Griffiths [:ref:`1 `] published in 1999. Due to the presence of the weak layer crossing the body of the slope, the fracture surface develops along the weak layer and therefore has the typically non-circular shape. **Comparing the result with the reference value, the result of CALC_STAB_PENTE has an error of 3.2%, which makes it possible to scientifically validate the Morgenstern-Price method and the improved fireworks algorithm (EFWA) implemented in CALC_STAB_PENTE. ** .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: probleme-reference resultats_reference modelisationA Bibliographie
