8. Summary of results

With regard to the evolution of the normal displacement at the center of the plate as a function of the control parameter, it is observed that:

• models with quadrangles give better results, compared to triangle meshes.

The calculations were stopped when the value of the ETA_PILOTAGE parameter stabilized, or when the calculation was no longer possible. Taking into account the meshes used, the results obtained are satisfactory. The errors observed are for the models:

• DKT: 11.4% for mesh TRIA3 (A) and 9.9% for mesh QUAD4 (B),

• COQUE_3D: 16% for mesh TRIA7 (C) and 10.8% for mesh QUAD9 (D),

• POUT_D_TGM: 9% (E).

However, it is observed that with a finer mesh at the ends and in the center of the plate, the place where plasticization occurs, it is possible to minimize the error compared to the reference solution.
