Benchmark solution ===================== Method used to calculate the reference solution ----------------------------- The reference solution was obtained by instrumentation during tests on a reproduction of console MEKELEC [1]. The ruin load is that for which a very significant displacement of the point of application of the force occurs without it being possible to reach a state of equilibrium (non-quasi-static evolution of the structure). In all cases, the structure has been fully unloaded at 40% and 80% of the design load to prevent the gaps in the assemblies from disturbing the ruin load. Benchmark results ---------------------- The ruin loads determined during the tests are presented for each of the load cases: .. csv-table:: "Load case", "Ruin load (:math:`\mathit{kN}`)", "Associated mode" ":math:`\mathit{C1}` ", "49.9", "Console Nose Lamination" ":math:`\mathit{C2}` ", "32.4", "Upper limb buckling" ":math:`\mathit{C3}` ", "16.2", "Console Nose Lamination" Uncertainty about the solution --------------------------- Experimental results.
