Summary of results ====================== Comparison with the elastic case --------------------------------- .. image:: images/100000000000034A00000253393C4EBAD368509B.png :width: 6.8866in :height: 4.8665in .. _RefImage_100000000000034A00000253393C4EBAD368509B.png: A graphical representation of the force-displacement response of the Lee gantry is presented above, where the response has been shown in the case of an elastic structure (obtained with the same modeling in *Code_Aster*). It is interesting to note how the addition of elasto-plastic behavior completely modifies the response of the structure from the first plasticization. Synthesis -------- Overall, the error committed during travel never exceeds 5%, which must be compared to the uncertainty about the solution, which is around 5%. Moreover, as explained, carrying out tests on values is difficult in the presence of control. If we look at the figure above, we notice a good correlation between the reference response and that obtained by*Code_Aster*. In particular, the change in appearance due to the first plasticization is well described.
