Summary:

This test concerns the validation of the application of wind loads on line elements. The load is described by wind speed fields.

This problem makes it possible to test:

• linear finite elements [bars, cables, beams (except curved beams)] with « wind » follower loadings,

• loads representing wind speeds:

• reading wind field data,

• projection of the wind fields attached to the point cloud onto the deformed mesh of the structure,

• calculation of the relative speed,

• taking into account the function giving the force distributed as a function of the relative speed of the structure,

• the updating of the geometry to take account of large movements and large rotations.
