Summary:

The problem is quasistatic nonlinear in structural mechanics.

The behavior of a gas-insulated cable section, buried at a shallow depth modelled by bars, is analyzed. The interaction with the ground is taken into account by member elements with non-linear behavior. In the vertical direction, this behavior is asymmetric.

A single modeling uses this gas-insulated cable (C.I.G.), whose mesh is obtained by a Fortran program associated with the test.
