v6.01.116 SSNA116 - Triaxial test with the Hoek-Brown model modified axisymmetrically#
Summary
This test makes it possible to validate the Hoek-Brown elasto-plastic behavior law modified in rock mechanics. It is a triaxial test for which the calculations are carried out only on the solid part of the soil in pure mechanics.
Two levels of confinement are applied: \(5\mathit{MPa}\) and \(12\mathrm{MPa}\). The parameters \({\phi }^{\mathrm{end}}\), \({\phi }^{\mathrm{rup}}\) and \({\phi }^{\mathrm{res}}\) are taken to be equal (which amounts to a constant volume plastic deformation): in this case it is possible to calculate an analytical solution to the problem and thus compare the results obtained with Code_Aster to this reference solution.
For reasons of symmetry, only one eighth of a sample subjected to a triaxial test is considered. The modeling is axisymmetric.
