Benchmark solution
======================

We will compare the results obtained with the schema switch to the results obtained when maintaining a single schema in time. In order to quantify the differences between the codes, we will therefore build two reference solutions: the first calculated with Europlexus, the second with *Code_Aster* explicitly.


Benchmark results
-----------------------

We compare ourselves to the reference solutions in terms of displacement, acceleration and SRO (for a damping coefficient of 5%) at point :math:`\mathit{PP2}` which is in the middle of the upper slab. For SRO, we will also compare the results obtained using the OBSERVATION tables, in particular the one generated by CALC_EUROPLEXUS to the data from ARCHIVAGE.


Uncertainty about the solution
----------------------------

The differences due to the schema switch will be compared with the differences between the two reference solutions (one obtained with Europlexus, the other with *Code_Aster*). Ideally, the switch should only slightly amplify these differences between the reference solutions, which cannot be reduced.
