Summary:
This test models the response of a submerged oscillating beam, subjected to Morison hydraulic forces (drag and inertia forces) in a fluid at rest or in the presence of a field of regular waves.
The reference solution is based on a comparison with the EDF -R& DCALHYPSO code.
The proposed models are as follows:
Modeling A: In this modeling, we test the calculation of drag forces for an oscillating beam in a fluid at rest.
Modeling B: In this modeling, we test the calculation of drag forces as well as the consideration of the added mass for an oscillating beam in a fluid at rest.
Modeling C: In this modeling, we test the calculation of drag and inertia forces for an oscillating beam in a field of regular waves.
