.. _V5.01.120: **v5.01.120** SDND120 - Transient response of an anti-seismic device ========================================================================== **Summary** An anti-seismic device was tested on a vibrating table. The objective of this test case is to reproduce this test numerically. The device is modelled by two non-damped mass-spring systems, separated by a non-linearity of the anti-seismic device type. We test the discrete element in traction-compression, the calculation of natural modes, static modes and the calculation of the transient response by non-linear modal recombination of the structure subjected to an accelerogram. The nonlinearity is of type ANTI_SISM. The reference result is a MATLAB program. The results obtained are in very good agreement with the reference results.
