5. Summary of results#

The test case validates the calculation of the wear power with POST_DYNA_MODA_T after a transient calculation on a modal basis, both on a variable step diagram (ADAPT_ORDRE2, RUNGE_KUTTA54 and RUNGE_KUTTA32) and on constant step diagrams (Euler and Devogeleare). In particular, the tangential micro-velocities induced by the contact model by penalization, during the adhesion phases, are correctly cancelled out.

The influence of the added spring remains below the precision obtained.

The tangential stiffness of the contact is the limiting element for greater precision. The convergence of the results towards the reference solution has been verified. The tangential stiffness was taken as large as possible to ensure the stability of the diagram with \(\mathit{dt}\mathrm{=}{10}^{\mathrm{-}4}s\).

The tolerances in the tests-resu are taken just above the differences found.
